Trying to give Hugo Boss and Dolce Gabbana a run for their money.Which designer am I talking about?…drum roll, please! His name Kevin Shahroozi and it will soon ring bells. His creations are best to describe as lux casual apparel for men. He also has a small capsule for women. His construction is tailor near perfection. Using the finest materials such as lambskin, Japanese denim, and cashmere the list can go on.Refusing to work with lower quality materials, reigns on his unseeded vision of a young professional much like himself playing hard and working harder.
His Background
Shahroozi started in real estate but found his true calling while sketching and like every new skill it takes the time to master it. Let’s be frank; no one is an expert overnight. He took lessons from Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons.Taking classes went hand in hand of a structured list of fashion houses he has experienced working.
- Burberry
- Zac Posen
- Marisa Webb
- German Valid
- Giorgio Amrani.
Upon his new found skill, Shahroozi decided to take himself seriously and is curating his empire.
How? He is taking on the necessities to make his vision real. Sketching out the silhouettes and making sure the masterpiece is complete along with proper trimmings and measurements.Hard work and admiration paid off while he got a head start in the fashion in Mercedes Fashion Week.
As for me, I got a chance to meet him during New York Fashion week. You can share the experience of viewing his designs flutter throughout the runway when you Click Here: The Real NYFW.
Along with Mercedes Fashion Week, incredible accomplishments conquered throughout the year.He landed outstanding opportunities by selling his finished garments to online retailers and boutiques across NYC. Come on you have to admit not bad for someone who only been working roughly about two years and a half on a dream.Luckily I got invited to a behind the scenes for his new campaign entitled “Uptown”.
A love story with a twist. Two strangers who bump into each other walking on the cemented streets of the Upper East Side (Manhattan) and yet again in a nearby cafe. What happens next? The lovely lady decided to make the first move and walked over to where he was sitting to start a conversation (girl power!)Then they decided to go on a date. You can see how this story unfolds below.↓
