If you live in Baltimore, New York City, and  the D.C. area you know the “Struggle was real” due to the Jonas blizzard or as my roommate started calling it #JonasDay. So here I am planning all the things I can do, starting with organizing my closet.(raise your hand if you’re a clothes hoarder,c’mon I can’t be the only one)I decided to check Pinterest to help me with my organization process.I entered the keywords: organize a closet and  √ it off as one of the things I’ve been wanting to do off my to-do list.Somewhere along the lines, I got fixated on a cat-eye frame. A frame so exquisitely crafted it would help me forget I survived yet another snow storm as a New Yorker.

The frames perfectly named piping black snow by Karl Lagerfeld. I visually felt the pair of sunnies on my face giving me a sense of superhero powers, melting the snow and embracing the beginning of the work week. So now your like ahh!

I know what piping black snow means, still why should I wear a pair of sunglasses priced around $107.00. I meant it in a hypothetical way, you should wear things that inspire you.

Karl Lagerfeld does that for me when I wear a black and white silhouette, I feel his energy rubbing off on me. His energy of being a powerful force in the fashion industry.So when I saw a Design Row giveaway for a Karl Lagerfeld(head designer and creative director of Chanel and Fendi) and fashion’s ice queen Anna Wintour(editor-in-chief of Vouge magazine) iPhone case, I felt like the universe was working in my favor (and the fact that my prior phone case was dying on me). Even during #JonasDay, something told me not let the weather wear me down, I decided to check my mailbox and there I was a giveaway winner with a piece that will be a simple reminder to make your day powerful in the most fashionable way.
