V-day Edition: 4 Amazing Beauty & Style Looks

Heart-shaped boxes of Belgium chocolate. Ruby color bundle of roses, and a nice chill bottle of bubbly. Oh yes, the day of commercially expressing your love to your significant other is approaching. Although, I believe you should celebrate love every day. I team up with Lyla Abbasi from GothamGlaminitii and DressLilly. To come up with four beauty and style looks v-day edition anyways.

For the V-day edition beauty aspect, Lyla prepped my skin with our favorite Cherry Mattifying Primer from Pacifica Beauty. To apply to primer profoundly, she uses elf cosmetics flat foundation brush. As for the brows, Lyla uses Nyx Cosmetics Waterproof Brow Gel in color shade Espresso”. She then applies and brushes up with Pacifica Beauty “Stunning Brows” brow gel. She carves the brow out with Huda Beauty Over Achiever Concealer in the shade, “Peanut Butter.” Lyla mixes it with a touch of “Coconut Flakes” using Morphe Brushes small angled Taklon brush. Then she adds a pop of soft glow on the browbone with Asher Rose Beauty shiny, creamy goodness.

Next is romancing the eyelids. Lyla uses Huda Beauty “Gold Remastered” and “Desert Dusk ” eyeshadow pallets. Brushing the eyelids along with the lovely Morphe Brushes in 35B to create and build the looks for this V-day edition looks.

After the brows, is time for the foundation. Lyla uses Black Opal’s True Color Foundation in the shade “Heavenly Honey” and “Black Walnut.” She mixes the shade and applies it with Wet and Wild Beauty’s foundation brush. Additionally, she buffed out with a dense kabuki brush from the set. The contour is achieved with Anastasia Beverly Hills in the shade “Java, Havana.” She applies it with Real Techniques contour brush in upward motions to lift and snatch.

Nowadays you can have your face beat without a glow. Lyla uses Huda Beauty 3-D Highlight Palette, “Golden Sands Edition.” To apply, she uses the large fluffy white brush from the Morphe Brushes set to apply blush and glow. We had fun with the lips in this V-day edition set. The key items were Anastasia Beverly Hills lip pallette Vol. 1 (Lyla mixed primary blue, primary yellow and white to achieve the sage lip vibe). Then for the other looks, she uses Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Mini Set Power Pinks and eyeshadow toppers from the pallets as well!

Now is time for the outfits from Dress Lilly. Look One, includes a heather grey long sleeve top with crochet back. The crochet on the back is of an ivory color and forms into a profound letter “V.” Perfect for this holiday. Then I layer the top with the website ethnic print strappy bikini top. From my wardrobe, I pair the top with a mini print skirt. The print of the skirt resembles my favorite singer, “The Weekend.” On the day about love, it’s cute to wear things to represent what you love as well, it speaks to your personality.

For the second look, I paired a stylish sleeveless maxi dress in watermelon red. The brown palm prints scream summer. To bring it back into a season I layer a crop faux leather jacket in black. I am matching back with a patent leather double buckle wide belt. Not to mention, The pink dress screams Valentine day for the win!

As I previously mentioned is great when wearing items that represent things you love. Instead of wearings things that remind you if your favorite singer you can wear clothes that remind you of your favorite show. That way when I saw the pocket design letter tee from Dress Lilly I knew it was meant to be. As you guys know, I’m a Netflix fiend. I cry and repeatedly laugh throughout the show I’m even thinking about binge watching it for the second time. I decided a hot pink mini skirt will play nice with the t-shirt.

The last outfit is a burgundy red long sleeve mini dress. I became excited when I found out it has pockets I love everything with pockets. Since it is still chilly out, I use a burgundy and grey stockings to help complete this look. Now you can have an idea of what to wear for this special day!
