Think Pink! W/ The Amazing: Introducing Jinx, Esqido & Social Native

Think Pink! W/ The Amazing: Introducing Jinx, Esquido & Social NativeGrowing up I only associated the color pink with frilly dresses, Barbie dolls, and cotton candy. When I enter high school, it had a different meaning for me.  One of the first girls I befriended mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. As a friend, I didn’t know how to respond. I didn’t comprehend. Nor did I want to emotionally but I knew I had to be there for her. Along with my friend side, we educated ourselves on what breast cancer is, what causes it and my new found relevance to the color pink. From that day on I’ve met amazing women of different paths of life who have beaten breast cancer. I look up to every one of them. On behalf of their strength and high spirits, the month of October is dedicated to THINK PINK!

Eye-conic Palette by Marc Jacobs Beauty Will Help Dress Your Eyes

I lived in almost every borough in NYC, but I find myself always moving back to Brooklyn. For the sole purpose is Brooklyn is where I get most of my inspiration from. The Brooklyn art scene is something you can’t ignore; it’s outspoken, abstract, and underrepresented. A close friend of mine, Paloma Zapata has made her mark in the art scene and invited me to an art gallery. Of course, it gave me a reason to glam up. I dress my eyes with Marc Jacobs new eyeshadow palette called eye-conic.

Fashionista Alert! New York Fashion Week is a few months away.  I’m here flipping out as much as you are. Allow me to embrace my favorite trend on the rise: Male makeup gurus. Men are taking over the beauty scene, and I love it. From Manny Guitierrez to Bretman Rock, it is great to see men take on the latest must-haves and spinning it. My ultimate favorite male guru by far is one of the most experienced makeup artists in the beauty scene, Dustin Lujan. His experience of creating beautiful faces began before it started being a huge hit in the Youtube scene. He is being featured in an upcoming fashion and beauty publication entitled La La Mode Rue. The book will be written by author and lifestyle coach, Lori Snyder. CPC, ELI-MP  and creative production will be overseen by Chris Victor of Victor Film Productions.

Create The Ultimate Holiday Party Makeup Look with GA-DE Cosmetics

For me to get in a holiday dancing spirit,  I played “Sleigh Ride” by TLC. After belting out the lyrics,

Just hear those sleigh bells jing-a-ling
Ring-ting-ting-a-ling too
It’s lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you
Outside the snow is fallin
And friends are calling you

I was pumped to go to my friend holiday party. For my holiday party makeup look, I decided to use GA-DE Cosmetics Fall 2016 collection for the reason of the perfect elements it has to create the holiday makeup go to look, the smokey eye.The selection included a basic matte eyeshadow palette with a range of warm earth tones mix with festive gray hues.First I used the lightest color in the kit on my eyelids. Then I worked the chocolate shadow into the light color and slightly above the lid creases. After that, I use the gray/black shade a little past the outer corner of the lids.I use the caramel tone eyeshadow to outline my bottom eyelashes to make my eyes pop.To blend the colors together, I used the second lightest shade and patted my eyelids repeatedly until each color looked like it was tied together.
