Note to self, going to need a purse closet soon; I recently found another bag I instantly became obsessed with! If you check my last post, I was fawning over crossbody straw bags I got for my upcoming trip. This time around is a rhinestone slouch bag. The bag is a chic must-have.
I’ve wanted to save this showstopper of a purse for a glamorous night out. However, the weather has been raining more than ever in New York City. In addition to the changes of the season, I got a cold (cue in the sad music). I finally was feeling better, and my mom and brother came to visit. Although it was raining, the local street fair was happening, and I believe it was finally time to give this rhinestone slouch bag a twirl.
Since I was going to do a lot of walking, wearing glam evening attire was out of the question. However, I didn’t want to look super casual, either. It wouldn’t pair well with the beautiful studded bag. So, scouring my wardrobe and found my favorite pants: a two-toned red and black plaid print on one side and a solid black with a huge plaid pocket on the other. I went with a pair of black faux leather wide-heeled booties to add to these trendy pants. I wore a sleeveless high-neck black blouse for the top to complete the look.
The silver bag features I adore are the double knot strap and a slot inside to put in whatever you want. I put a NARs lip gloss, iPhone, keys, MetroCard, and debit in my bag. The staples for a walk around town. As I strolled by the flashing carnival-like lights, I blushed when a few people complimented my attire. I even had a couple of people ask where I got my bag. Of course, I told them, no gatekeeping over here!
