The right of suffrage to women, May 19, 1919, might be the 19th Amendment that trigger in your head and not the shop located on 13 West 38th street.Of course is still a positive amendment. The nineteenth amendment retailer helps distribute the finest accessories and apparel from emerging fashion designers from around the world all in one place.

Roughly about two weeks ago I got invited to a redesign fashion event from a fellow friend and fashion designer Kevin Sharoozi. The shop was hosting the event around the time of holiday shopping.Designers were spread around (one designer was available to speak through Skype) most of them had their inspiration or a story of where they’re from posted above their collection.

It was a real sight to see other than the usual open bar to help shop without any guilt. The visionaries made their pieces come alive majority with models walking around in one silhouette to represent their collection. It was refreshing to see their work and how it fits as oppose to having only mannequins lead examples of their work. The shop has three floors and the one collection, made my eyes glisten is a shoe company entitled True Gault.

True Gault: The Experience

The shoe company takes custom-made to a whole other level. As I scoured the shoe racks I was asked if I don’t mind getting my shoe measured.Of course, why not I thought to myself.I was expecting to get measured by the typical shoe measuring device, located in most retailers.I was given two pairs of socks. One was a lime green color and it was meant for my right foot.I was told to make sure I didn’t leave any extra fabric of the sock hanging off. Then I placed the second sock which was a tomato red following the same orders as before.I stood up on a circular device and placed my foot down like I would on a weight scale. The circular device is known as True Gault’s fit formula technology. It scanned each foot and was getting all the true measurements of each foot. The process was not long at all and the beauty of it all is whenever I decide on a silhouette (color/print) I adore they will make the shoe from my true measurements. There no need to repeat the process because they will store the information for any time your ready to buy.

Luckily no need to stuff a sock into one shoe to help even it out because they were made specially made just for me.This can be the case for you too.Admit it footwear is not custom made for us and unlike apparel, we can’t just stitch a shoe and resew it to fit us perfectly.True Gault gets rid of all the headaches. The starting price is $350 and although this may seem pricey I think the price makes perfect sense. Not only is the heels custom made for you is also handmade in Spain so the high price matches the high quality.(Bonus Feature: extra heel tips included)

  1. I love the outfits, especially that white two piece. I love that this show company measures your true size. Than a girl can truly feel like her shoes are made perfectly for her. That is awesome.

  2. Wow. I think I’m in love with that shoe company! These weird shaped, huge feet thank you. Now all I need to do is figure out how to get to their shop from NC!

And the white dresses – those are just stunning.
Thank you so much for introducing me to these new-to-me designers!

  3. Wow… that white two-piece ensemble is to die for! I love your blog… it makes me think that maybe I should get out more so that I can get dressed up. 🙂 I love the concept of custom made shoes and how they do all the measuring. With foot issues, (I have pins in mine) I think that we all need to be aware of how shoes SHOULD fit and the damage that can be done by wearing ill-fitting footwear. Love your blog!!
