Super Natural Curl Tamer by Treasured Locks my First Try

Between color treating my hair and using heating hair appliances almost every day. My hair is officially out of whack. I was looking for a way to naturally get my curls back. I came across Treasured Locks, a brand that specializes in hair and beauty products for people of color.Treasured Locks caught my eye with its wide range of naturally made products. Majority of the products help aid common problems people of color have with hair and skin. To revive my curly hair I decided to give Treasured Locks “Super Natural Curl Tamer” a try.

In addition to the “Supernatural Curl Tamer,” the Treasured Locks website suggested ordering the “Hydra Cap.” (Hydra Cap is short for hydrating conditioning cap.) I decided to add it to my shopping cart if I’m committed to my hair transformation. Once I placed my order, I acted like the majority of the online shopper; I wanted to sit in front of the door and wait for my package to arrive. Although the shipment did not come in a light speed minute, it ships a few days later. As an added effort committing to my hair transformation, I decided to give up any heating tools once I placed my order.

Rocking my hair product and heat free was a challenging experience. However, I did want to see if I can visually and physically notice a difference after the first try. I read the instructions on the “Supernatural Curl Tamer” pouch. It said I would need a bowl, preferably a dye bowl and a dye brush or wide tooth com brush. I gather my dye bowl and dye brush put it to the side. I also decided to grab a towel since I tend to make a mess every time I try a hair mask.

The instructions read to make sure you place all the contents of your hair starting from the root. I grab my dye brush and section each part of my hair. After I set the product on the scalp of my hair, I made my way the end of my hair. Once I was done mixing the product with my hair, I help my hair up with a hair clip and put on Treasured Locks “Hydra Cap.” The “Hydra Ca”p help keep my hair and the product in place.

I could leave the natural herbal curl tamer on my head anywhere from 30 min to an hour. I decided to round off the time for 45 min. Spending the 45 min cleaning up my room, and to my surprise, the “Hydra Cap” kept in place. Once the timer was up, I wash and condition my hair.

My final thoughts, the product itself smelled natural, however, I did see my curls form a bounce and it left my hair super soft. It also went my hair less frizzy wish is always a problem for me. I can’t wait to try the product again and see if the results are consistent.
