Curly Divas Alert- Appreciate your tresses for how versatile it is. You can work a “wash and set” straight look to naturally curly in a matter of minutes. However, I’ve been trying to avoid straightening my hair. I’m on a journey of creating different hairstyles for my full soft curve, almost wavy hair. As I’ve been practicing different looks, Baiste Waterless Shampoo is my go-to for my hair type.

I fell in love with these three trendy styles below:

  • The Side Braid
  • Two Half Ponytails
  • Bun Party

Before I go into explaining how to recreate these looks, you want to make sure you tame your curly hair and start fresh. Use the Batiste Waterless Shampoo, my favorite one of this collection is the almond oil kind. It smells PHENOMENAL, and it helps refresh hair instantly in a matter of sixty seconds. (that converts to one whole minute) While restoring your hair using this product, you are also strengthing it, and it makes it easier to style.

The side braid is simple yet great if you’re on the go and want something a bit different than just letting your hair dry on its own. All you have to do is lay your baby hairs. Afterward, grab your comb and part the front of your hair on the side. Then grab three parts of your hair and make one braid by intertwining them together. Once done, pin the end of your braid right above your ear. To amp it up a notch add multiple ring bead cuffs onto the braid your now sporting one of Instagram’s hottest hairstyles.

The second hairstyle is even easier! Gather the front section of your hair that falls between the peaks of your eyebrows. Sleek the front of your hair, near the root, using a smoothing brush. Then gather hair into two ponytails using a regular hair tie. Secure the ponytails by pulling the hair through on the second or third round, depending upon thick your hair is. To add a bit of spice to this look, add colored bobby pins. I use the matte pink and form them into the shape of the letter “X” on both sides, who is sassy now.

The third hairstyle on the list is the bun party. I love this look for a fun outing such as going to a concert or dancing at the club. You will need elastic rubber bands to complete this look. Grab the front of your hair and part in multiple sections. Make mini ponytails with using the elastic rubber bands. Afterward, swirl each mini ponytails into mini buns, adequately known as Bantu knots. You can create as much as your heart desires. Once your Bantu knots are set, add a big bun behind it. Think of it as your big bun is the stage, and the Bantu knots are the people dancing hence the name bun party.

That wraps it up for the three fun, trendy hairstyle for your curly hair. If you don’t always have time to wash your hair as much as me, I once again recommend the Batiste Waterless Cleansing Foam. It is an incredible time-saver. It helps create these creative styles in no time. A bonus is it is lightweight, pleasant scent and non-greasy.
