These days a great pair of lashes and a little bit of lip gloss is my new everyday look. If you guys have been following me for a while, you know I have a slight obsession with lashes. One of my favorite UK beauty brands, Jolie Beauty, has launched wispy style lashes, and I wanted to give them all a try. There are so many to pick from the site it was so hard to choose. However, I did narrow it to four and got ready for a lashes haul try-on.

Previously I use Jolie Beauty products before such as their Bomb Dot Com glitter palette. I was fawning over the cherry bomb glitter shade; it is the perfect glamor for any holiday look. I still use the glitter palette to this day whenever I want an extra sparkle to my appearance. Ok, enough talk about glitter, and let’s move on to the lashes haul.

The four lashes are Lillie, April, Vivienne, and Melody. It is already a given; I’m ecstatic because there is a pair of lashes under my name (which is Melody, by the way). Nevertheless, I want to be biased, so I decided to try on the Melody lashes last. It is also the most dramatic one out of the four. I want to try it on in the order of length, width, and curl factor.

The lashes come in beautiful opalite and rose gold packaging. With easy-to-follow directions, even if you’re a beginner to the whole false lashes look. Not only am I a fan of the wispy style, which is similar to mink lashes that are trending in the market today. But it is also handcrafted, vegan, and cruelty-free, which is a huge plus in my book! The icing on the cake is each pair is reusable up to thirty times. For the retail price of seventeen dollars, you are getting your money worth.

Before Jolie Beauty Lashes

How to apply Jolie Beauty Lashes:
  • Carefully peel eyelashes from the clear plastic tray.
  • Remove the sticky residue.
  • Measure the eyelash against your eye shape and trim accordingly (you can do so with an eyelash scissor trimmer)
  • I like using eyelash glue using the brand’s Lash Lock Clear Eyelash Glue, applying a thin layer onto the clear band.
  • After the glue is on the band, wait for about 30 to 60 seconds, you will want to make sure the glue is tacky.
  • Then apply the lashes close to your lash line as possible; I prefer doing it with a lash applicator. It makes lash applying so much easier. The brand has a beautiful one in a rose gold hue.
