meggings8Think about the Soho sneakerhead who is a little overly obsessed with Kanye West’s fashion line. I’m hinting at Yeezy Fall 2015 collection, models wearing oversized tees and body stockings. A “Soho Sneakerhead,” one who is trend driven, a perfect candidate to wear meggings without breaking a sweat. I also firmly believe in wearing the fitted style you must be a man who loves wearing skinny jeans.

I challenged my roommate who religiously wears skinny jeans to test a pair of men leggings from Kapow Meggings.

meggings5My roommate, Jeffrey browsed the Kapow Megging’s website. The selection is very fashion forward, moderately priced at £24.99 ($32.40). The style ranges from a brilliant golden metallic style called, “24 Carat” through a galaxy inspired pattern called, “supernova.” Jeffrey picked out a design named “Milky Way.”  The Milky Way print reminds me of white paint splatter against a black charcoal canvas. As the packaged arrived from the United Kingdom, Jeffrey digs through his closet wondering what can he wear with the fun black and white printed polyester/spandex meggings.Polyester on its own is quite a restrictive fabric, the spandex is there to give sufficient stretch.

When the meggings came from Kapow Meggings Jeffrey immediately, open up the onyx tissue wrapping and tried them on. As I patiently waited, my eyes lit up when he imitated a model walk to my room. I was impressed how great the Milky Way meggings look on him. He stared at himself in my over the door full-length  mirror and turned around a couple of times. While checking himself out  he made a “These make my ass look amazing!” face. I instantly burst out laughing and screaming “Yasss boo!”In between Jeffrey’s outfit changes, he gave out pointers on how you should wear meggings.

  • The Kapow Meggings are definitely not boring, and each style is a statement by itself, so wearing solid or minimal colors are a must, this look is about the meggings and your rocker personality alone.
  • With this shoot we decided to take a more sporty approach to the meggings asJeffrey is a health and fitness enthusiast, so pairing either high or low top sneakers is the way to go, keeping in mind that they should also be solid in color. However,  if you’re a badass who prefers to wear the meggings on a night out or to a Kanye West concert then combat boots are your go to’s.

  7. I’ve never heard of these and I’ve never seen a guy wearing anything like it where I’m from. I know my boyfriend wouldn’t wear these but the guy in your pics pulls them off nicely. Great post:)

    1. Kanye has def drifted from who he was when he started however he is human and at one point he did great things that I believe can’t go unnoticed
