Being a typical beauty junkie, I’ve scoured many beauty supply stores trying to figure out the best tools for my hair. I dabble with my curling iron, flat iron, and blowdryer to help mix up my appearance. However, I never tried the hot blower brush.I’ve seen it in the hair styling aisle, but I never met anyone who uses one, made me scared to try it until now.

Unlike my typical trip to my nearby beauty supply store, I came across the blower brush on Amazon. This particular blower brush name is “One-Step Dryer and Styler.”I thought to myself; it usually takes more than one product to achieve the look I’m going for. Reading the name over and over in my head, tempted me to try the product.

After receiving the “One-Step Dryer and Styler” in the mail, I read the attributes on the packaging. The packaging claims the product will leave the hair smooth and frizz free. It also claims blowouts take half the time then using a standard blow dryer. If these claims are valid, it will save me a considerable amount of time from me getting ready. It will also save me a ton of money from going to a hair salon and get it professionally done.

As I open the packaging, the blower brush comes in a disposable plastic pouch. The brush is black with magenta bristles. It also comes with a small pamphlet better explaining what the product entails. The little booklet implies it has a one-year warranty and a one-year replacement. It also describes the product has a cool tip which allows your hand not to heat up while using the product. It also states to stay away from the bristle since this is the part of the product that heats up while using.

Along with the cool tip, the blower brush has multiple heat settings. The heat settings are high, medium, low, and off. To select which setting you want you to turn the cool tip and the setting will light up in blue. The non-detachable brush head s but I swear seems huge but I swear the product itself is super light. The brush comes with a swivel cord to plug into an outlet. To make sure the swivel cord is not messy; it has a velcro closure, which is easy to use.

I use the blower brush on high since the texture of my hair curly/wavy, which I usually have a hard time blow drying my hair in the first place. After a few brushes, I was shocked to see my hair indeed straightening out in the first place. After finishing using the blower brush, I didn’t need to add any sheen because of the product tourmaline technology, which is excellent to achieve healthy hair.

I’m genuinely impressed I finish styling my hair in about 15-20 min. It usually takes me about an hour or two. I did save a lot of time. However, it was hard to thoroughly blow dry the roots, on the top of my head, no matter how much I went over it still left a small imprint that I had to keep patting down throughout the day — my frizz free hair lasting a few hours. For the area, I kept putting down it seems to frizz up a bit. I will recommend making sure to wait for a little after wetting your hair to use the product. After using the product this way, I achieve a better result.

Even my roommates couldn’t believe how fast I straighten my hair; she started to use it. Now that she loves it so much, I should buy her one too. To see my wet to dry hair look check out the video below:

Side note* Nothing to do with hair. However, I’m a new fashion feature on Dress Like Me Magazine. Will love my readers to take the time and check the article out.
