The 24k gold eye mask is filling up my Instagram feed and even made is debut on the daytime television show The Doctors. Influencers are praising this gel skincare product while the hosts from The Doctors are rejecting this skincare trend. For my loyal subscribers and first-time readers, I want to give you the ultimate answer you are all pondering, does it work?

I do own gold jewelry. Except I could only tell when something appears to be real compared to when gold is so orange it has to be fake. If your question is if the mask is genuinely 24k gold, I frankly cannot answer. My apologies if this is the question you had in mind but don’t click off the post just yet. Although I can’t confirm the authenticity of the gold value of the mask, I can tell you if it does work for the skincare problems it claims to help treat.

The 24k gold eye mask claims to help eliminate eye bags, sagging eye skin, dark circles, and fine lines. Before trying the product for myself, I took a look at Influencer reviews. Even watch the Doctors show where a version of the 24k gold eye mask made its appearance. I found out all the reports has one thing in common other than the gel texture. The product testers all tried the product once and told you if the product work right after. (mentally I said to myself, where they do that at?) In reality, a product is not going to work overnight.

To make this a realistic review and not a waste of your time I took it upon myself and try the product more than once (and no I did not just try the product twice, I gave it a real shot you guys!) I tried the product for four days. Most 24k gold eye mask instructions are to use weekly. However, the eye treatment I’m using claim it is safe for everyday use. It also instructs to use for about fifteen to twenty minutes. I settle for fifteen. After my time rung is the bell, I took the eye mask off and noticed the undereye area looks instantly moisturized. I also see a cooling sensation while trying, which did relax me.

My final thoughts. I took a picture of before using the 24k gold eye mask, and each day, I did use the product. The con is I did not see a change in my dark circles. However, I did see an improvement in the redness underneath my eye and the puffiness. It did impress me to see that difference, and I believe if I continue to use it for a few more days, the redness and puffy eye issue will be gone. For the dark circle, I think I’ll try another product for this skincare problem.
