One of my greatest pet peeves is meeting someone for the first time, and a few hours later the person is asking me to send nudes. It just makes me want to be sarcastic and reply, usually, with a picture of my lips in my favorite shade of beige hue lipstick. With today being “National Nude Day,” I believe it will be great to showcase a nude makeup look from Walgreens latest cosmetics line, Isadora.

Isadora is one of Swedish best-selling makeup line now open to the states for everyone at their local Walgreens. Everything retails from twelve to twenty-five dollars, making it price-friendly for European made cosmetics. I got my hands on a few of their products and created a look worthy enough to send over text making the other person drool for you even if you’re not naked.

I started to set my skin before applying the makeup with a face moisturizer, sunscreen, and a primer. After setting my face, I began to put Isadora products to the test. I use Isadora twenty-four hour active foundation in the shade 22 honey. I apply the foundation on my face with the brand beauty blender. Typically use a foundation brush; however, in the summer, the beauty blender sponge is better to help leave a creaseless finish.

Next, I fill in my eyebrows and use the highlighter from the Isadora Face Sculptor to define my eyes. And use a lip balm. I like to use a lip balm as a way moisturize my lips before applying a lipstick or a lip gloss. After applying the lip balm, I work my way to my eyes. To make sure my eyeshadow last all day, I set my eyelids with an eyeshadow primer. If you don’t have one, you can set your eyelids with a concealer as well; it gets the job done. Then I use a concealer to hide the dark circles underneath my eyes. I use the brand beauty blender to blend the concealer.

Now I’m ready for my favorite part about applying makeup, the eyeshadow application. I use the four colors in the Isadora Muddy Nudes palette from light to dark to create a soft smokey eye look. On the edge of my eyes, I use the darkest brown in the palette. To make sure the application of the eyeshadow looks align I place a double-side foam tape (this what I had lying around).

I am keeping on the double-sided foam tape to use Isadora Glossy Eyeliner in the shade Chrome Black. The eyeliner is waterproof, which is excellent for the summer pool parties and trips to the beach. After I slay the wingtip, I remove the foam tape and grab Isadora expandable mascara. I’ve been buying mascaras for a while and never own one that had this option, so I believe it’s cool. Then I put on fake eyelashes. Once my false eyelashes are done, I did a typical contour look and grabbed the Isadora face sculptor again. This time I blend the contour look with a bronzer and help add a warm pink to my checks by using the palette blush. To help complete the look, I generously apply Isadora Twist-Up in the shade Toffee Pop.
