In New York, as in my places, spring break is canceled due to COVI-19. It is bittersweet. However, I am safe at home and grateful. Before the lockdown, I did plan a last-minute vacation plan to Miami with friends; I was budgeting the trip, so I was online surfing affordable bathing suits. The reason I did a bathing suit haul from eBay is to help save money and having the items ship before the trip. Now that all my items arrive and I’m not traveling, I believe it was fun to share the try-on experience with all of you.
While I’m mentally on the beach, let me share with you my favorite beach accessory. My ideal beach accessory is the one you need most, the beach bag. Although I did a bathing suit haul from eBay (and I promise we’ll get to it), I did indeed found a beach bag online and fell in love with it. It has an eye-catching wolf print on the face of the tote with a chunky rope design as the bag handle. The bag comes with a top easy to pull zip closure and is very spacious, allowing you to store many things inside. An additional bonus the bag itself is waterproof. I did find this bohemian style bag from Amazon, and I felt as it can go with any bathing suit I will ever buy.
Honest Try-On
I’m using the beach bag as a prop for the try on a haul to showcase. It does go with every bathing suit. Now that finish with obsessing over the beach bag, let’s get to the try-on haul—the first one up is a lip print bikini in red, white, and black. The front has black ruffles, which are a great add on for cute details. I would have given this bathing suit a thumbs up. However, the back strings are too short of tying in the back, and I honestly could barely put it on. I can always swipe for a larger string to make the bathing suit wearable.
The second bathing suit is a style of bathing suit that I find so hard to find. I have a similar one like it, and I get many compliments. The excitement is genuine, trying this one-piece bikini on. The buyer did not let me down.I’m obese with it; the bright hues are stunning, and it fits the tea. I feel if I did go to the Miami vacation, I can eat and drink all I want and it will hide the food belly.
Bathing suit number three is a neon zebra crossbody. I think I can become an official extra on the trending Netflix series “Tiger King” if there were into zebras. The neon color is giving me life, and I feel like a “hot momma” in this sexy little number. I think this can work for women with a bigger bust. Or if your part of the “itty bitty titty” committee like me, you can simply make it tighter.
The next bathing suit is different from the rest in terms of colors. I still like the tone down colors in ode to the stars and moon prints. Is giving me luna vibes, spirituality, and third eye power type of feeling trying it on. I never own a bathing suit with a broader band, and I do like the crisscross front. The only downside is the bathing suit arrives with a lot of loose threads.
The final bathing suit fell flat due to the fact I couldn’t get it on, so disappointing. This bathing suit size should be label an XXS. I couldn’t even get the bottom to pass my ankles. What a bummer! I was thinking about maybe going up a couple of sizes; then, I realize the chain comes undone too easily. Hopefully, the buyer will understand and will accept a return or show me a different style of bathing suit that will fit.
