We can all admit Halloween 🎃 👻  this year is different. Because of the worldwide pandemic, a lot of events are canceled this year. Due to the cancelations, it doesn’t mean you can’t make time to play with makeup and create a last-minute Halloween look. Whether you are being safe and staying at home or attending a house party with close friends,  a bright unicorn makeup look is timeless.

The bright unicorn makeup inspiration came from the latest eyeliner palette from L.A. Girl Cosmetics. The palette is perfectly entitled “Dreamy Vibes.”

The kit comes with seven eyeliners:
  • Marshmellow
  • Lavender
  • Powder Blue
  • Magic Mint
  • Sunshine
  • Baby Pink
  • Super Black

These eyeliners have a matte finish and are retractable. Easy to glide on and smudge if need be. I love the matte finish with these; however, to help make the look pop, I’m also blending these pastel hues with the shimmery shades from the Violet Voss “Rainbow Eyeshadow Palette.” Before adding any color, I set the face with Anastasia Beverly Hills Illumionos Foundation in shade 330W. After I apply the foundation generously on my face, I’m using the concealer from Black Radiance HD Corrector in shade Light to Medium on my eyelids. To diminish the wet look, I buff it out. Afterward, I add the concealer underneath my eyes on my forehead and in the middle of my nose, and then I blend.

Now it is time to apply the color. I use the Violet Voss Rainbow palette and apply the shade pearl on the corner of my eyes and the brow bones. Using the baby pink eyeliner from LA Girl cosmetics, I apply it evenly all over the eyelids. Next, I will use the Flamingo Shade from the Violet Voss right above my eyes’ highlighted corner. Right on the crease, I add the Lavender eyeliner from La Girl Cosmetics. Right above the lavender crease, I go back to the Violet Voss, and I’m adding the hue, Violet. Then I add the lavender eyeliner right above the violet line. The multiple lines are to create a definition.

I’m using a shade next to the violet, named Indigo, going back to the rainbow palette. The Indigo is more of a bluish-purple color, and I’m using this eyeshadow from the edge of my eye all the way to the top of my hairline. Afterward, I grab the lavender liner to help make the indigo color pop. Once I create these two lines, I keep going with multiple liners. The liners include powder blue, magic mint, sunshine, and baby. Pink. Giving off a rainbow look.

The rainbow lines are connecting to the magical aura of the unicorn; to learn more of how to create this look, click and watch the video below:
