Are you craving a little extra sparkle for New Year?  Who doesn’t love a bit of shine for this festive holiday! A glittering gold cut crease eye and a nude lip make for a great combo. For the New Years Makeup, grab your makeup brushes. Turn on your vanity lights, and get ready to shine bright with this stunning look.

First,  make sure you make sure your hair is not in the way. I typically use a headband or hair clips, but why not an ear warmer. You’re probably like oooohhh girl. You lost me there. Hear me out since it is cold af in these New York streets, and I’m all about saving time. The ear is warmer can def be a lifesaver. Now that we clarify the ear warmer use doesn’t forget to prep your skin with a bit of skincare. A good moisturizer makes for a lovely base, mine is an organic one from Loving Herbs. I also use Thirst Thing First from I Dew Care is serving life with a glossy glow. I use this because the foundation I later on use is so matte this helps break it even.

Skincare step is now officially done — time to get in tune with your inner Picasso. Next, I use “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” from NYX Cosmetics in the shade Neutral Buff. This is a contour concelaer to help prep for the eyeshadow application as I let that set, I grab my eyebrow brush. Now I am honestly not going to give you a whole eyebrow lesson because I don’t do much with mine other than filling them in with a shade name Bridgette Brown from Essence Shape and Shadows pallete.

We are going with warm tones to compliment the gold glitter for the New Years’ makeup look and starting with an orange hue from Afrique by Juvia’s palette. The name is Dakar. Right underneath, I pair the orange with a lovely cinnamon brown from the same palette. The brown is named Cameroon on the palette. Then I use a mauve color underneath from a Morphe cosmetics. I couldn’t find the exact pallete online. However, you can use the brand Stunning Vibes palette since it has a similar range in colors. The last eyeshadow I use before adding the glitter is Kofi, a shade from, going back to the Afrique by Juvia’s palette.

Now the eyes are almost done. I use the same brand of the concealer for my foundation. The color is .a little light for me, but they’re nothing a little blending can’t help. I use Anastasia Beverly Hill contour palette to help with that. Going back to the eye look, I line my eyelids with Milani Matte liquid eyeliner. Then for the star of the show, I use loose gold glitter from a local beauty supply store.

Since the eyes are very busy, a classic nude lip help balance the festive look. I use Loreal liquid matte lipstick in Milk and Cookies, and I topped it with my favorite lip gloss from R.K. collection Lemon Head. Then Ta-Da! The look is complete. Don’t forget to use my code Melrose25 for twenty-five percent off your total. Head over to R.K collection so you can bring home the stylish ear warmer and drool-worthy lipgloss.

  1. Beautiful make-up for the New Year. I wish you shine in the New Year just like your incredible golden makeup 🙂

  2. The colors of the make up are a combination that I love and I’m sure it would look great, less convinced of the lips so pronounced and underlined with the gloss, I would have left them mat.

  3. I have been looking for a new neutral lip colour. My usual one I can’t seem to find anywhere. I will look out for this it looks great with the gloss

  4. What a vibrant look! I really like how the makup and your outfit compliment each other. Those earrings look super cool!

  5. Your make up is so glam! I wish I could pull it off as effortlessly as you! You even made an ear warmer look so chick and classy!
