Woah! We made it to 2020. I want to wish all my readers (and new readers) a HAPPY NEW YEAR! I have created a four-step new year skincare routine to start things off right. For each skincare product, I will explain four different resolutions and or goals I have for this year. Cheers to skincare tips and getting to know yours truly, a bit more.

The first product from my four-step routine, I’m welcoming into the New Year, is an Australia Hemp Clay Mask from Hey Bud. If you been following me for a while, you guys know I’m a huge fan of CBD products. I experience positive results from using their products before anywhere from vitamin gummies to a calming hemp seed serum. So excited for using this product is real. Other than hemp being the main ingredient, the product ingredients include avocado oil, goji berry, sweet almond oil, matcha green tea, glycerin, and vitamin E.

For combination skin, I recommend using it for one-two times a week. If you have oily skin, I will suggest doing it three days a week. Leave it on for about ten minutes; then it is all good to start the day. Now, as I mentioned, for each skincare product, I will explain a new year’s resolution or goal. My first resolution is eliminating eating meat and fish altogether. This year I became a vegetarian. Although this product is vegan-friendly, I wish I can be vegan. Maybe that can be a goal for next year.

As being a baby vegetarian, I bought out the frozen section from my favorite supermarket, Trader Joes. I’ve been experimenting with meatless products. Such as meatless orange chicken and plant base hotdogs. While I learn, I’m going to be addicted to matless orange chicken, and not a fan of plant-based hot dogs is all about trying new things. But if you are a more seasoned vegetarian, feel free to comment on your tips.

The second product is a dark spot correcter from the brand, Insta Natural. Now I’ve suffered from acne as a growing teenager in the past. The result of being an amid people popper turn me into being a victim of blemishes. This helps eliminate the appearance of scars and blemishes. Insta Natural is backed up by NASA. They use stem cell technology while creating their products. My second resolution is going to yoga more. In my early teens and my early twenties, I was more active in going always, and then I stop trying to figure out how to keep up with life. I want to be more proactive with my body and getting in tune with quieting my mind and having a healthy balance.

The third product is from the same brand as the dark spot corrector. It is anti-aging collagen. Usually, I take collagen in the form of gummies or drinking it from a powder form. I believe it’s easier. My third resolution is working less at my night jobs. I know financially trying to pay off my student loan debt made me take on more responsibilities, but I find myself missing time with friends and family, so frankly, just doing it one to two nights a week.

The last and final product of my four-step New Year skincare routine is a pore and oil control SPF from Murad. It helps control oil, which makes a great primer for a daily makeup wearer such as myself. It helps minimize pores to help give your skin the blur effect without adding a filter to pictures. My last resolution is using my business degree and starting muy own business. Of course, it is nerve-racking but I’m excited too. The brand is will be WaterBruja combing crystals with soap candles bath bombs and eventually more so stay tuned.

  1. I am yet to try clay masks. I actually have 2 samples received from magazines, but I haven’t tried them yet. Maybe I should soon.
